Parent participation
For our Juniors Dalyellup FC relies on parent participation. We ask you to be proactive and offer your assistance.
Junior FIFA teams always are looking for a Referee for their home games. The Club will assist with arranging training for anyone who would like to volunteer for this important role.
The Club needs to develop
fund-raising options to pay for Club projects. If you have ideas or
can contribute time to fund-raising it would be appreciated.
Each year the Club will look at organising a number of social
events that will allow players and partners in Senior teams
and parents and children in Junior teams to socialise and
continue to build the warm atmosphere that already exists at the
club.
All parents of children who
participate for more than a year or so should look at contributing
to the Junior Club by volunteering to serve on the Committee.
Many hands do make light work and the knowledge and ideas
that you will have after being involved with your child for a
several years will be invaluable for the ongoing success of the
Club.
Junior team managers will roster parents for their duties for
games. Eg Half time snacks, Referee for Rooball games or Referee’s
Assistant/Linesperson for FIFA games. Rosters are worked out at the
start of the season.
Duties
Possible rostered duties include:
- Sausage Sizzle (Training Night) / (Match Day).
- Player refreshments (Oranges, watermelon etc for half time).
- Ground Marshall.
- Setting up of ground for commencement of day’s games.
- Marking pitches.
- Dismantling of goals and packing up at the end of day’s games.
- Referee for Rooball games or Linesperson for FIFA games
- Assistance to CCJSA FIFA Carnival during October school holidays.
